Trust and pour out your heart to Him (Psalm 62:8)

(Verse chosen from today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 65-66 & Psalm 62 & John 3)

“Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him for God is our refuge.”  Psalm 62:8

What lessons are there for me in this Scripture?

Who do I trust when the going gets tough?  In God I must trust.  In fact, I must trust Him at all times.

Only a fool would rely on himself in a world created by God.

God is a jealous God.  He doesn’t want my affections to be anywhere else.

I need to come to Him aggressively.  There must be only one place that I go to in every situation…..and it’s to Him.

I must proclaim His Love in the morning and His faithfulness (to me during the day) at night.

He has proven Himself to be my refuge.  He has given me comfort.

When I am clean and in His will, there is no better feeling.
