“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9.
Verse chosen from today’s Bible reading; Deuteronomy 28-29 and Galatians 6.
Believers do not have down time from doing good.
We are on this earth to rightly represent Him.
We must have our eyes/ears open to catch where we can serve Him. Too often my head is down. I’m thinking of what’s ahead in an agenda I’ve created.
God wants me to be flexible. Be ready to represent Him in an instant, not of my own choosing.
Obviously, the closer I am to God the more likely I will be able to pull this off.
A good training ground is in the place where we live. How well do I see the needs of those in my household? How willing am I to stop what I’m doing and meet an in-house need?
I must not be helpful to get an earthly reward. God is the Great Rewarder and He sees what goes on. It is Him I must please because I am so in love with Him.
“Lord, forgive me for focusing on my own agenda and missing out on opportunities to serve You in Your Agenda. Give me Your eyes and ears in my midst, I beg. I love You, Lord,”
I must always be ready to serve Him.
