What is Easter about?

Jesus carried our sins to the cross purposely to die for them, thereby eliminating the consequences that sin brings; separation from a holy God.

God accepted what Jesus did, thereby eliminating our need to face the consequences of our sinfulness; separation from a holy God.

God’s acceptance of what Jesus did is called Easter.  God not only brought Jesus back to life but accepted what Jesus did and lifted from us the certainty of being separated from God in the after-life.

Now, those who believe what Jesus/God have done, are completely in the clear before a holy and righteous God.  Death has lost its sting.  There is an eternal after-life for us with Him.  Amazing grace!
