There will be separation

“This is how it will be at the end of the age.  The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  Matthew 13:49-50.

Verses chosen from today’s Bible reading; 2 Samuel 1, Psalm 140, and Matthew 13.

There will be an unhappy ending for those who refuse to trust in God.

We live in a world that isn’t worried about the end.  They choose to concentrate on the present and the near-future.

My neighbor told me that he isn’t worried about what happens after he dies.  Is that whistling past the graveyard?

There will be a Judgment Day.  Those who have had their sin record erased will move on to heaven.  Those who don’t have their sin record taken care of will go to Hell.  It’s a real place!

God sent Jesus to earth to give His life to erase our sin record.  We must believe that we indeed have a sin record and believe that by dying in our places Jesus took care of our sin record.

Folks who arrive on Judgment Day counting on their “good” life getting them to heaven, will have to live in Hell with that thinking.

“Lord, I thank You for loving me enough to die in my place.  I needed that done for me and I believe that what You did was enough to get my sin record erased.  I love You, Father.”

Heaven or Hell?
