Amazing mercy

“But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.” Hebrews 2:9.

Verse chosen from today’s Bible reading; Hosea 2-5 and Hebrews 2.

God found a way to make it possible for us humans to live our after-life in heaven.  PTL.

We deserve to be separated permanently from Him because we are all sinners.  No place for sin in heaven.

Yet God did not give us what we deserved but gave mercy instead.  Jesus took our places in receiving the punishment (after-life separation from God) that was rightly ours.

There are so many in this world who have chosen to ignore God.  That posture will get them justice in the after-life unless they accept God’s grace.  Accepting His grace will get them something they don’t deserve (an after-life with God).

“O Lord, open the hearts of those who have missed the grace You are offering.  Enable them, I beg, to seek You while You may still be found.  Enable me, I beg, to present You to those who need You.  I cannot rightly represent You without Your taking me over entirely.  I surrender to You now.  Guide me, O thou great Jehovah.”

Are you ready to receive His mercy/grace?
