“For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.”  Psalm 48:14.

God’s timing is beyond my understanding.

If I understand things correctly, after I die I will live forever with God.

How do you measure “forever?”

At my age, I wonder what the next twenty years hold!  To do something forever, sounds tiring to me.  BUT God will give me a new body.  It won’t age.

I read the news online almost every day.  I see turmoil and wonder where it will lead.  What I need to remember is God is with me forever.  He’s in charge.  There will be a happy ending.

He will always be available.  Will I pursue Him ceaselessly?

If He is always nearby, I must have a steady relationship with Him.

Some days I find myself ignoring Him.  I act as if He’s elsewhere.  According to today’s verse, He’s with me for the rest of my life!  He truly is my constant companion.

His forever constancy must make me constantly aware of Him.

I have found myself lately uttering quick words to Him.  Thanking Him for things.  Asking Him to help me to please Him in what I’m about to do.

What I shouldn’t be asking is for Him to be with me.  As a believer, He is ALWAYS with me.  He doesn’t need an invite.  And He will ALWAYS be with me!  Now and forever.

Conclusion: God is with me forever.  Hallelujah!
