(Verse chosen from today’s Bible reading – Isaiah 50-52 & Psalm 92 & 2 Peter 1)
“It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your name, O most high, to proclaim Your love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night,” Psalm 92:1-2
What lessons are there for me in this Scripture?
My day should begin and end praising Him. I should praise Him in between as well.
This verse says to begin the day acknowledging that God loves me. I am a loved child of His and His love will be a reality if I am spiritually alert to it.
At the day’s end, I will have data to back up my belief that God loves me that I can recall.
If I forget His love at the start of a day and/or fail to recount His faithfulness at the end of a day I can be certain that my spiritual house is not in order.
Therefore, I must start each day basking in His love and end each day reflecting on His faithfulness during that day.
